Monday 24th April 2017:
We’re delighted to congratulate three of our incredibly talented contributing members on their success at last night’s British Academy Television Craft Awards.
We were blown away by the audio post on Planet Earth II, and it seems we weren’t the only ones. After seeing Episode 1, we had to get the inside story on the sound, and we spoke to the audio team of Kate Hopkins and Graham Wild, who were both incredibly generous with their time and insight. Two of the three nominated shows in the Sound Factual category were episodes of Planet Earth II, with ‘Cities’ winning on the night.
In our recent article about Client-attended audio sessions, we asked Howard Bargroff about the changes in the dynamic of working with directors in high-end drama over the past decade. Howard, too, was only too happy to provide his uniquely informed perspective. Howard won the Sound Fiction BAFTA for his work as re-recording mixer on The Night Manager, and was also nominated for Sherlock
To our friends Kate, Graham and Howard – our thanks once again, and our congratulations!
